Some edits were made to give it more variety but the majority of the art is from that pack. I saw the little examples 0x72 gave and got inspired to make something with it. At some point I might release a separate game with art entirely done by me, but no plans as of now.
Controls:
- arrow keys to move
- ctrl to attack
- up / down to climb and descend ladders
- up to enter doors
List of changes:
- added bg color to some tiles to remove gaps
- added wood tiles and some variations to the stone tiles
- added climbing animation to basic character
- particle effects
- coins
- GUI features
- spriteText

Did you make the fire/blood particle effects yourself? they look really nice, compliments 0x72's sprites very well

Yep the fire and blood particles and a few extras like potions, the chest, doorways and all that are mine, and the base sprites and 90% of the animations are from 0x72's pack.

This is a fairly simple but highly addictive game! Excellent job!
I think it needs checkpoints for each level just because it feel better in games.

This is a cool little platformer game, but the camera just moves too much, my eyes hurt.
Yeah that's a good point. I tried to mitigate it by only moving it sometimes. Maybe I'll find a better way soon.
